Cascata, Italian for "waterfall," is aptly named. A 418-foot waterfall
flows from the steep mountainside, tumbling over mammoth boulders,
cascading into a river that roars through the clubhouse, eventually
culminating in a tranquil stream. It' s no wonder Sports Illustrated
called Cascata "golf's hidden treasure."

Featured Holes
Hole 1 – 367 yard par 4
This short, but challenging uphill par 4 requires a well-placed
tee shot between a large fairway bunker on the right and the creek
on the left. This leaves a short iron second shot into an elevated
green. The false front punishes shots that fall short, so the player
would be wise to play for the middle of the green. However, the
fast green slopes from back-to-front and anything long will face
a very difficult up-and-down for par.
Hole 7 – 157 yard par 3
This wonderful downhill par 3 is one of the most picturesque holes
at Cascata and enjoys one of its dramatic waterfalls as a backdrop.
An accurate tee shot is a must, with water short and left and a
canyon wall and bunker on the right. The choice of club off the
tee will depend on the pin placement on this deep green, which has
a large ridge running across its middle. Anything left above the
hole is likely to be extremely fast. Par is a good score on this
short hole.
Hole 14 – 434 yard par 4
The 14th at Cascata is a dogleg right par 4 where water is always
in play. A driver down the right side leaves a short approach shot,
but anything missed to the right will end up wet. The percentage
play is a fairway wood or long iron to the middle of the fairway,
leaving a mid-iron shot into this wide green protected by water,
bunkers and the desert. A very challenging and beautiful hole.
Hole 18 – 559 yard par 5
The 18th at Cascata offers the opportunity for a birdie finish,
but players must successfully navigate the water hazard running
the length of the hole as well as the desert. Depending on the winds,
it can be reached in two with a long-carrying drive over the large
rock formation on the left that avoids the creek and the desert.
The safe play is a modest drive left of the sand trap and a middle
iron second shot. The fairway slopes toward the water, so the second
shot must be played well left. The undulating green will leave players
with a challenging finish to their round at Cascata.
